Vegan Products

Here are some of my favorite vegan products, some of were designed to be vegetarian or vegan, and some of which are accidentally vegan. I try to make most of my own food, but there are some things I just can't make.

	Silk Soy Milk Soy milks mostly taste the same, but I like Silk's consistency.
	Daiya Vegan Cheese I've used many different brands of vegan cheese over the years, but none of them were very good repicas until Daiya. Daiya melts, stretches, turns gooey instead of drippy when it's hot, and tastes delicious -- just like cheese as far as I can remember it. It's delicious in macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese, quesadillas, and on pizza.
	Ah!Laska Chocolate Syrup Hershey's syrup is accidentally vegan, but since it's all high fructose corn syrup, I prefer this organic, cane sugar-sweetened alternative. I use it for making mocha lattes, hot chocolate, or chocolate milk, or on ice cream.
	Earth Balance Earth Balance is the best vegan margarine. It tastes just like butter, and you can use it the same ways.
	Light Life Smart Strips Chick'n Style Strips Delicious vegan chicken strips, great in pasta, tacos, barbecue sandwiches, wraps, and anywhere else you'd use chicken.
	Gimme Lean I use this for everything: hamburgers, tacos, sloppy joes, meatloaf, anywhere you would use ground beef. It has zero fat but holds together amazingly well, and it tastes great. The sausage style is one of the few egg-free veggie sausages out there, and also tastes great.
	Nate's Meatless Meatballs These are so good, I'm sure a hardcore meateater wouldn't know they're vegan. I use them for spaghetti and meatballs, or make them into a meatball sub.
	So Delicious Ice Cream My favorite vegan ice cream, with a nice creamy consistency and lots of different flavors.
	Real New York Pizza Dough This is an accidentally vegan frozen pizza dough sold at Whole Foods, and to use it you just let it thaw for a few hours, then stretch it into shape and add toppings.
	Amy's Rice Macaroni I can make mac & cheese easily enough, but this new Daiya-based vegan macaroni is quick and tasty.
	Vegenaise This is a vegan mayonnaise alternative, delicious spread on sandwiches or in potato salad.
